Our Church

Who are we? What are we about?

The Dream Centre Church is a member of the Assemblies of God Churches of New Zealand. Our Vision is to Build the Church to become the Greatest Attraction (Isaiah 2:2) where people will flock towards the House of God because of the Word of God. Hence, our Church places a very serious emphasis on God’s Word.

The Dream Centre was planted on Saturday April 16th 2000 in South Auckland. Since then we have planted churches in Samoa, Avondale, New Lynn and Dannevirke with future church plants in Kapiti and Online. The Dream Centre also broadcasts its weekly TV Ministry “Prayer Preaching” on TBN Pacific, Shine TV NZ and the Laufou Radio Samoa.

Currently our church is based on Kolmar Road in Papatoetoe. We the Great Commission is most effective at a grassroots level therefore we place a huge emphasis on individual and family discipleship. Our mission strategy is guided by our current Harvest 20-25 Plan, a plan that prioritises our discipleship strategy of “Each One Reaches One” (E1R1).

The Dream Centre is governed by a very strong and committed Eldership. Our church’s constitution is reviewed during our annual AGM. We also have a very faithful Pastoral and Leadership Team. Our church has implemented strong and robust governance and management systems for both mission delivery and accountability.
